I'm looking for your help in supporting efforts to benchmark best practices.

My questions are simple:

• What types of categories or classification do you use or suggest to track non-employees?
i. Do you think is it necessary to classify temps separately from contractors? If so, how do you define those roles?
ii. Do you classify consultants or independent contractors separately? If so, how are those roles defined?
iii. Do you classify and track couriers, delivery personnel, vendors? If so, how?
iv. Do you consider interns to be employees or non-employees? Why?
• Do you track employees and non-employees in the same system of record? If not, how is that handled?
